Mr. Suresh Kumar Sharma, is a leading industrialist from Nagpur, born on July 26, 1948 at Kansali, Rajasthan in the family of Late Vaidyaraj Pt. Ramnarayanji Sharma, founder and Managing Director of the well-known pharma-major Shree BaidyanathAyruved Bhawan Pvt. Ltd. Besides leading the 100 year old Ayurvedic Pharmaceutical Company; he has also commissioned wind power projects of 130 MW capacity along with Solar Power Projects of 10 MW capacity, spread across the states of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. He has also been nominated for the post of Director, ‘SICOM’ (Maharashtra) from 1995 to 1999 besides being the past president of Industries Associations. Former Hon. Secretary – Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan (Nagpur Kendra) – 1980-88; Former. Founder president – Vidarbha Drug Manufacturers Association, Nagpur; President – Bhartiya VaidyakSamanway Samiti an oldest NGO of Vidarbha, which runs “Shree Ayurved Mahavidyalaya” a Government Aided and CCIM recognized Under Graduate and Post Graduate Institute with 215 bedded Pakwasa Samanway Rugnalaya. The institute is also a Ph.D. center recognized by Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS). Former President – All India Ayurved Research Institute, Nagpur; Joint Managing Trustee of Ramnarayan Vaidya Ayurveda Research Trust founded by Late Pt. RamnarayanSharma.He is also a Managing Trustee of Smt. Gyarsidevi Charitable Trust, started in the memory of his mother Late Smt. Gyarsidevi Sharma, under which a charitable dispensary is being run. Scholarships are also being given by this trust to deserving candidates.
